I agree with this. The early years are vital to the success of a child. If they learn what is important early on they will not have trouble in the future.
I believe it will give them that strong foundation that they need. I do believe every person will have trouble in the future but they are more likely to go back to the foundation if they were provided a good foundation to begin with.
I must say that this is one of the verses that my mother and grandparents raised me upon. I feel that this is a bible verse that need to be in the teacher and parent handbook. Its a good on to teach and train by.
Crystal many parents are worried about raising their children in a world filled with unwholesome influences As children grow older, they need “the way,” a set of standards to meet. More and more specialists have come to realize the importance of providing beneficial rules for children. Wise parental standards give children a feeling of security. Your child has free will and will grow up to exercise it. But this verse also offers parents a loving assurance. If you train your children according to the Bible’s counsel, you are creating the most favorable circumstances to bring about a marvelous result—seeing your children grow up to be happy, fulfilled, and responsible adults. So yes, by all means, then, prepare those precious “arrows,” protect them, and expend yourself in directing them. You will never regret it.
